i-SEOUL WALKING TOURIST GUIDES
Dressed in beige hats and red vests, the guides are easy to recognise. They are deployed through Seoul’s Volunteer Center to Seouls most heavily frequented tourist attractions to offer convenient on-the-spot assistance.
Seoul-mate volunteers are university students who want to help foreign tourists and expats. They offer special tours of Seoul free of charge that they described as being ‘totally different from typical Seoul tours”. At the time of this posting, the group is offering 11 official tours including Gyeongokgung, Gangnam, Namsn, Seodaemun Prison, etc. The Seoul-Mate website is easily accessed in Korea but not from all countries. The group has a FB page. You can also contact them through email@example.com.
